I spent the early part of the week dealing with a summer case of bronchitis. This left me winded and listless. That was the downside. The upside? I gave myself permission to do as little as possible. I drank tea, watched some movies and read. I wrote a little. By Thursday energy had returned so I cleaned house in anticipation of a visit from my middle child and her boyfriend.
We had fun, which included a crab feast lunch on a docked boat called "Leaky Pete's" at Hooper's outside restaurant/bar "Sneaky Pete's" in Ocean City.
We also stopped for ice cream cones and sampled boutique cheeses at Chesapeake Bay Farm. Later that evening, we met up with Dad who wanted Chinese food. I was still stuffed from our crab session so didn't eat much, but the company was good and the kids demonstrated once again that they are always hungry.
I'm slipping into Monday. My eldest daughter and my granddaughter may be coming for a visit on Tuesday. Other than that fun, I have a lot planned so it should turn out to be a productive week, I think. About time.
