This year I promised myself that I would manage to have one Mother Daughter get away with each of my girls. Later today, after departing from work early, I will drive to Morgantown, WV pick up my youngest and head to Dayton, Ohio. Why Dayton, you ask? For Winter Guard International World Competitions.
Was I blogging last year at this time? I don't think so. But, my daughter's winter guard unit competed last year and placed 7th in the world in their class. She chose not to compete this year, wanting to focus on her freshman year of college instead, but she didn't want to miss watching and cheering for her friends from all the units she knows. In additon, it's WGI's 30th Anniversary, so everyone's celebrating.
My father and brother have convinced me to stop and pick up their favorite Global Navigation System for my car. Anyone who knows me and my sense of direction will probably think this is a good idea. I just don't want to be the last person in the family to have one.
I really don't have anything else to say.

Have a great weekend! But mom remember watching the road is more important then watching the Navigating System.
